For the last decade, I have scoured through court records, tracked down long-lost photographers, and found footage in the hardest to reach places as an Archival Producer on feature documentaries, prestige television, and commercials. With deep archival research, digital asset management, fair use advising, and clearance, I provide a production everything they need to tell impactful stories with found material.

Documentary in post production, chronicling Holocaust survivor turned world-class violinist Samuel Marder's incredible life story, and his mentorship of singer-songwriter Regina Spektor.
From finding the hidden scraps of evidence of the Romanian holocaust, to digging up unseen interviews and concerts with Samuel and his late wife Sonia from around the world, this project was a superbly meaningful challenge.

I developed Richard Branson's masterclass from its origin, creative produced the shoot, and directed the edit with a small team of editors. Our post process was very hands on at Masterclass - I was creating paper edits days after the shoot and found a deep well of archival to drive the story and draw lessons from Richard's life in unexpected ways. His origin story was really the emotional heart of the piece, while my personal favorite was his attempts to prevent two wars!

Even fake documentaries need archival! I helped intertwine the real history of a turbulent 1990s Los Angeles and the real 1930s animator who created the character Goofy, within this fictional mockumentary.
It explored Thomas Washington, a young black animator who was accidentally appointed CEO of The Walt Disney Company, and intended to make "the Blackest movie of all time" - which would be A Goofy Movie.
Docuseries
Associate Producer, Archival Researcher
A Netflix docuseries following 5 coaches and their philosophies on life. For the pilot with Dawn Staley, I crafted the initial outline and interview questions as we were preparing for the interview, and once we started putting together the story of her childhood, we realized there were still a few elements missing. So I flew back to Dawn's hometown of Philly and shot b-roll in her old neighborhood, and on the basketball courts where she got her start.
This - combined with the archival I dug up of Dawn and the city in that era - crafted a really special scene.
