I developed Richard Branson's masterclass from its origin, creative produced the shoot, and directed the edit with a small team of editors. Our post process was very hands on at Masterclass - I was creating paper edits days after the shoot and found a deep well of archival to drive the story and draw lessons from Richard's life in unexpected ways. His origin story was really the emotional heart of the piece, while my personal favorite was his attempts to prevent two wars!

Each gripping narrative had its own look and feel - such as Meredith's real life story behind The Big Short, told as a slow motion thriller as she discovers the financial crisis in waiting - and centered on their own experiences taking risks and making mistakes along the way.

The class was a conversation series split up between a more historical exploration with University of Houston American History Professor Bob Buzzanco, and a breakdown of the media landscape today with digital culture analyst Jules Terpak.
